Indeed, this document acts as a formal record of your consent allowing us to enter your residence and look after your pets. It guarantees that you have been made aware of our policies and procedures regarding pet sitting and dog walking.
To begin, go to the Treat Em Purrfect Pet Care website's home page. Fill out the "Client Login" form to create an account. A Treat Em Purrfect Pet Care representative will reach out to schedule the first client meeting, where they will meet both you and your pets. Please note that the initial client meeting (meet and greet) incurs a one-time charge of $25.00.
Services can be scheduled upon request via phone, email, or through the homepage of the Treat 'Em Purrfect Pet Care website. By selecting "Client Login" on the homepage, you will be redirected to a link where you can create your client and pet profiles. After setting up your online account, you will be able to book services through it.
The holiday season is hectic, so book in advance! Reservations for holidays require payment upon booking. We offer some flexibility: full refunds for holiday cancellations are available if made two weeks before the initial visit. This policy ensures compensation for pet care professionals who may have turned down other work due to the reservation. Cancellations can be made by phone, email, or text message.
A cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one visit will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the first scheduled appointment. This policy is applicable only to non-holiday pet sitting appointments.
Clients must call, email, or text by 9 PM the night before the scheduled walk to cancel. Otherwise, they acknowledge that they will be charged for that day. Exceptions to this policy may be made in certain situations, such as if the walker has not yet arrived to perform the walk, or in the event of severe weather that is beyond the control of both the client and the pet care professional. Cancellations for early bird walks or visits scheduled between 7AM - 9AM, made after 9PM the previous night, will result in the full cost of the visit being charged. For mid-day, evening, or bedtime walks, cancellations must be made by 7AM on the day of the service to avoid the full walk fee.
We accept payment via Zelle, bank to bank transfers, old fashion bank checks, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). For M-F dog walking clients, we will bill you on Saturday for the previous week. Payment is due on Tuesday. Clients can opt-in to the Auto Pay option by saving a credit card on file when logging on to the account created when visiting the contact us page. For all other services, payment is due at time of the new client meeting (meet and greet).
Full payment for pet sitting, litter box cleaning, and medication demonstration services is due at the initial client meeting (meet and greet). For dog walking services, payment must be made by the Tuesday after services are rendered.

Your dog's safety is our utmost concern. We provide exclusive one-on-one walks, steering clear of group walks. All dogs must have current vaccinations and demonstrate friendly behavior towards other dogs. Our approach includes avoiding interactions with other dogs, often by simply crossing the street.
Mid-day walks can be scheduled upon request, with an extra charge of $15 on these federal holidays: MLK Day, President's Day, Columbus Day, and Veterans Day. It is important to note that mid-day walks are not available on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.
For the safety of all, we follow federal government guidelines. In the event of a government shutdown due to an impending snowstorm or hurricane, we will cancel our regular mid-day walks. We will endeavor to carry out scheduled dog and cat sitting visits as arranged. Clients with mid-day walking packages will not incur charges for any required cancellations. Furthermore, on days with extreme weather conditions like severe heat, cold, or rainstorms, walk durations may be reduced.
Morning walks are scheduled from 7AM-10AM, mid-day walks from 11AM-4PM, and evening walks from 5PM-8PM. On weekends, the schedule remains the same, although rates may differ.
We provide exclusively one-on-one walks, although we can accommodate dogs from the same household. This policy ensures that each dog receives the full attention of the walker.
We aim for consistency by scheduling the same pet sitter or dog walker, fostering a bond between them, the animals, and our clients. Our mid-day dogs from Monday to Friday usually have the same walker. However, occasional changes may occur due to vacations, emergencies, jury duty, etc. Pet sitters are assigned according to their availability, which can vary. Clients are notified of any changes.
Our policy is to recognize all federal government holidays, along with Easter, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. On these holidays, including Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, a $15 holiday service fee is charged for any services provided. This fee is given to our pet care professionals as an expression of appreciation for their commitment. Furthermore, a $15 holiday surcharge is also applied on Black Friday and December 26th, the day after Christmas.
